This week and next, all residents will receive the annual rent increase letter in the mail. We use the rental income to maintain your home. We also use the money to make our homes more sustainable, to renovate and to build new homes. Besides costs for our office and staff, we pay a substantial amount in taxes.
There might be no rent increase for social housing
On Wednesday, April 16th, it was announced that there might be no rent increase for social housing in 2025 and 2026. This is stated in a preliminary agreement from the government. It is not yet certain, as it is not an official law.
Why are you still receiving a rent increase letter?
We are sending you the rent increase letter because we are legally required to do so. We must send you this letter before May 1st. The rent increase will proceed if the government does not approve the law.
We comply with the law
Don't worry; we always comply with the law. We will not implement the rent increase if the law is approved. Your rent will not increase. You do not need to do anything yourself.
You will receive a notification from us when there is more clarity
We hope to inform you soon. Unfortunately, we are dependent on the government for this.
